Gay Pride

 Este pasado domingo 24 de Junio,  pudimos disfrutar del espectacular desfile del orgullo gay en Nueva York!

La cabalgata finalizaba en nuestra calle, Christopher St., ya que aquí es donde empezó toda la revolución gay de la ciudad. 

On June 24th, there was the Gay Pride Day in New York.

The parade finished in Christopher St., where we live. In this place started the gay revolution of the city.

 Varias compañías estaban presentes en el desfile para demostrar su apoyo a la comunidad homosexual: Kiehl's, Delta Airlines, Coca·cola, TD Bank, Vitaminwater, jcp, NYU...

Incluidos bomberos, policia, ambulancias, militares, gobernadores y el partido de Obama.
Including the firefighters, the police, ambulances, military, governors and Obama's political party

Dani tuvo un sitio previlegiado, se encontraba en el portal de nuestro apartamento subido a un banquillo para no perderse nada. Mis padres y yo no pudimos alcanzar el apartamento, justo cuando llegamos empezó el desfile y nos fue imposible cruzar :(

Dani saw all the parade in a privileged place, he was in our doorway with a footstool so he could see all the show. My parents and me were in front, because we arrive late, the parade just started so we couldn't cross the street to get to the apartment.
